Mikumi National Park is a protected area located in Tanzania, East Africa. It is a component of the greater Selous ecosystem and has a surface area of 3,230 square kilometers. A wide variety of animals, including lions, elephants, zebras, giraffes, buffaloes, hippos, and many more, may be seen in the park.
Mikumi National Park is conveniently located and frequently featured in itineraries for safaris in southern Tanzania. The Mkata River, which runs through it and provides water for the park's animals, is close by the Uluguru Mountains.
