Itinerary

DAY 1: Dar es salaam to Nyerere National Park

Departure at 8:00 AM from any preferred location in Dar es Salaam. Expected time of arrival at NP around 12:00 noon. Check-in at Selous Safari Lodge, followed by lunch and relaxation before embarking on a boat safari along Tanzania’s largest and longest river, the Rufiji River, at around 4PM. Stretching about 600 kilometers (370 miles) from its source in southwestern Tanzania to the Indian Ocean, the river is home to diverse wildlife, including crocodiles, hippos, river cliffs, and numerous bird species.

After the boat safari you will return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight.

DAY 2: Full Day Game Drive

After early breakfast you will head out on an exciting full-day game drive through Nyerere National Park. Guided by wildlife experts, you’ll explore the park’s vast and diverse terrain, spotting animals such as elephants, giraffes, zebras, and antelopes along the way.

As you journey through wetlands, savannahs, and acacia forests, take in the stunning scenery and watch for colorful birds flying overhead. Midday, pause for a tasty packed lunch and a chance to unwind in the heart of nature.

The adventure continues into the afternoon, with more wildlife sightings before returning to the lodge at sunset. End your day with a delicious dinner and a peaceful night’s rest, ready for tomorrow’s adventures.

DAY 3: Full Day Game Drive

Set out on an exciting full-day game drive through the varied landscapes of Nyerere National Park, taking different routes to discover its rich wildlife. Spot elephants, giraffes, antelopes, and an array of colorful bird species along the way, all while enjoying the park’s stunning natural beauty.

A special highlight includes a visit to a natural hot spring—weather permitting, you might even enjoy a relaxing swim in its warm waters.

Pause midday for a tasty packed lunch in the wild, soaking in the peaceful surroundings. The adventure continues into the afternoon before you return to the lodge at sunset. End the day with a delicious dinner and a restful night, ready for your final day of discovery.

DAY 4: Departure for Mikumi National Park

After breakfast you will depart for Mikumi National Park, which approximately takes 5 hours. Upon arrival you will check in the lodge Chambo as, refresh, and hav have lunch, and in the evening hours you will go for a Maasai cultural tour

DAY 5: Full Day Mikumi Game Drive

Early in the morning after an early breakfast, you will leave for a game drive at Mikumi National Park. The open horizons and abundant wildlife of the Mkata Floodplain, the popular centerpiece of Mikumi, draw frequent comparisons to the more famous Serengeti Plains.

Picnic lunch will be served in the park , dinner at the villas

DAY 6: Transfer to Ruaha National Park(Afternoon Game Drive)

Your journey kicks off with a picturesque drive from Morogoro to the stunning Ruaha National Park. Once there, you'll dive into an exciting afternoon game drive, discovering the park's wild terrain and encountering majestic animals such as lions, elephants, and elusive antelopes, all set against a glowing sunset. As evening falls, you'll unwind at Ruaha Hill Top Lodge, enjoying a restful night in the heart of nature, serenaded by the sounds of the African bush beneath a sky full of stars.

DAY 7: Morning Game Drive Ruaha National Park and Departure for Mikumi National Park

After enjoying an early breakfast, you'll head out for one last game drive in Ruaha National Park, known for its wild beauty and abundant wildlife. This is your final chance to see top predators like lions and leopards, along with large elephant herds and rare antelopes such as kudu and sable, all set against the park’s stunning landscapes.

By midday, you'll begin your 4–5 hour journey to Mikumi National Park. Along the way, you'll pass through scenic rural areas, with views of villages, sunflower fields, and miombo woodlands. Upon arrival, you’ll check in at a comfortable mid-range lodge to relax for the evening.

DAY 8: Departure from Mikumi for Dar es salaam

After breakfast you will start your trip to Dar es Salaam, which takes about 6 hours’ drive through Chalinze. Drop-off point at the customer's preference,
